The seven parks of Banff, Jasper, Kootenay and Yoho national parks along with Mount Robson, Mount Assiniboine and Hamber provincial parks are certified as the Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks, recognised the world over for their scenic magnificence and beauty. The outstanding physical features of glacial geological processes like the mountain peaks, glaciers, lakes, waterfalls, canyons and limestone caves, all form a striking panoramic landscape. Canada’s national parks are its largest revenue contributors grossing at over 2.5 billion dollars annually. Of the numerous vistas, Emerald Lake and Mount Burgess in Yoho National Park from British Columbia are featured on this monotonal but bi-lingual banknote from the ‘Canadian Landscape’ series celebrating the nation’s natural wealth.
